Layered Salad

1 head lettuce, shredded ½ c. parmesan cheese, grated 1 c. onion, chopped 1 t. sugar

1 c. celery, chopped ½ t. salt

10 oz. pkg. frozen green peas, uncooked ¼ t. pepper

1 c. cheddar cheese, grated 2 c. mayonnaise

Put shredded lettuce in large bowl. Layer onion, celery, peas, and cheeses. Spread mayonnaise over the top. (Not Miracle Whip) Sprinkle with sugar, salt and pepper. Make the day before. Refrigerate. Before serving, garnish with tomato wedges and bacon bits.
