Fast Fruit Cobbler (Mary Jo Tolbert)

This recipe was given to Mary Jo Tolbert by Gene Ann Frizzell. It is quick and easy. *The cinnamon is my addition. Kay Hillje

Melt 1 stick butter in medium casserole or cake pan (8 x 11.5 x 2).

Mix together in a medium bowl:

1 c. biscuit mix

1 c. sugar or ½ c. Splenda

2/3 c. milk

½ t. cinnamon (optional)

Pour into pan on top of melted butter.

Add fruit, approximately 4 cups of any type of unsweetened fruit, on top of biscuit mixture. Do not stir. Sprinkle ½ cup sugar (or ¼ cup Splenda) and ½ t. cinnamon on top. Bake at 350* for 35-45 minutes.
