Nut Cookies (Mary Jo Tolbert)

Beat 2 large eggs. Add 2 cups sugar, 1 t. vanilla, 1 t. cinnamon.

Dissolve 1 t. of baking soda in 2 t. warm water, add 3 drops of vinegar. Mix well and add to sugar mixture.

Add pinch of salt, 1 cup melted butter or margarine. Mix well. Add 3 1/2 cups sifted flour and 1 cup chopped nuts. Dough should be very stiff. If necessary, add more flour. Form into roll and wrap in wax paper. Makes about 4 - 8 inch rolls. Freeze.

Slice and bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 minutes at 350F.
