Refrigerator Rolls (Louise Tatum)

2/3 c. sugar 2 eggs, beaten

1 c. Criscoâ 2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. warm water

1 c. boiling water 6-7 c. flour

1 T. salt

Stir shortening and boiling water until shortening melts. Add eggs, salt, yeast mixture, and sugar. Mix well. Add flour. Mix by hand until stiff. Cover with dry cloth and refrigerate overnight. Next day, turn dough out on floured board and make rolls. Put in greased pan and bake at 375° until done. Serve warm or may freeze until ready to use.
