Beef Stew

Ingredients:
¼ - ½ small onion –diced
1 package stew meat (1-2 lbs)
2-3 carrots (cut into ¼ inch pieces)
½ can green beans
1 14.5oz can diced tomatoes in juice
2 cups beef broth
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
3-4 small potatoes (peeled and cubed small)
½ t. salt
½ t. pepper
½ t. garlic
In large pot, saute’ onion until starts to soften and add stew meat. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to meat and cook over medium high heat until browned and cooked most of the way through. Add beef broth, bring to a boil. Add carrots, green beans, and potatoes. (Quick tip: soften the potatoes in microwave, then add). Add tomatoes and tomato sauce and bring back to a boil. Drop to a simmer and simmer covered for 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Taste and add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Tastes better the next day! Enjoy!
