Prune Cake (Ola Edwards)

In memory of Ola Edwards.

1 c. sugar 5 T. prune juice

3 eggs 1 c. chopped prunes

1/3 c. butter 1 t. baking powder

5 T. sour cream 1 c. flour

Beat eggs and add other ingredients until mixed well. Bake in preheated oven at 350° until done.

Icing:

1 c. sugar 1 c. raisins

1 c. pecans 1 egg

1 c. milk

Cook until mixture thickens. Cool. Pour over cake. Best if you let the cake set in a cool place for a few days.
