Squash Casserole

4 medium yellow squash, thinly sliced
2 large potatoes, thinly sliced
1 medium sweet onion, thinly sliced
½ c. melted butter
In a medium casserole, put a layer of yellow squash, then salt and pepper the squash, repeat with potatoes and onion until all are in dish. Pour melted butter (I used light butter-works great! Kay Hillje) over the whole thing. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes until fork tender.
