Tuna Noodle Casserole
I didn’t like tuna noodle casserole until I tried this one. This is one of my mother-in-law’s recipes. I changed a couple of things. This is one of my family’s favorites. Kay Hillje
1 can tuna in water, drained
8 oz green peas, frozen
12 oz No Yolk or regular egg noodles, cooked
½ c. lite margarine or butter (light or regular)
1 can low fat cream of mushroom soup (fat free or regular)
½ pkg saltines
½ can water
Melt margarine. Mix margarine and crushed saltines. Set aside. Mix all remaining ingredients. Pour noodle mixture into a casserole dish. Sprinkle saltine mixture on top. Bake 350° until bubbly and saltines are lightly brown and crispy.
